DasDeck is a comprehensive font family that was originally designed as a corporate font for the company Das Deck.
Das Deck has worked in the field of interactive music, applying different concepts, and using a wide range of technologies that create intelligent, high quality sound. The company's goal was to explore the many faceted possibilities of interactive music and to develop nonlinear soundscapes as well as to create new musical experiences in digital space.
The typeface refers to the company’s distinctive profile by reinterpreting the digital aesthetics of monospace and screen fonts, using strong structural elements [such as hexagonal and rectangular shapes] that are evenly applied to all sorts and characters.
Each character is carefully worked out with many playful details and subtleties.
Compared to the intrinsic characteristic of monospaced typefaces, DasDeck is well spaced, making it very legible and suitable for text use.
The DasDeck family is accompanied by two extra fonts:
